Got Questions? I’ve Got Answers
-
Our first session is a chance to get to know one another and lay the foundation for our work together. I’ll ask questions to better understand your current challenges, goals, and areas for growth. Together, we’ll identify your strengths and any mental habits or patterns that may be getting in your way.
At the end of the session, I’ll answer any questions you have and give you a mental skill or strategy to practice before our next session.

Mental performance coaching is a psychoeducational, performance-focused service. I help athletes and performers develop skills such as confidence, concentration, goal setting, visualization, stress management, motivation, and resilience.
Mental performance coaching is not a substitute for therapy or mental health treatment. If a clinical concern comes up that is outside my scope of practice, I will refer you to an appropriately licensed mental health professional.

Yes! I have worked with athletes and dancers in elite training programs who are preparing to perform at collegiate and professional levels. I also bring eight years of experience as a professional ballet dancer to my work with performers.

Mental performance coaching is helpful for anyone who wants to strengthen their mental skills, improve their performance, or support their overall well-being. You do not need to be struggling to begin mental skills training!
You may benefit from mental performance coaching if you:
Perform well in practice but struggle to show your skills in games or performances
Are hard on yourself after mistakes
Have inconsistent confidence
Have difficulty managing nerves or pressure
Have trouble refocusing after mistakes
Feel overwhelmed or burnt out
Are struggling with motivation
Want to prepare mentally for an upcoming audition, competition, or performance

It’s completely normal to feel nervous before trying something new. As I remind my clients, feeling nervous often means that you care. You don’t need to have everything figured out before we begin. Our first session is simply a chance to talk, get to know each other, and identify what you’d like to work on. Come as you are. I am here to help you feel comfortable and we can move at your pace in our sessions.
