What is Mental Performance Coaching?

Mental performance coaching involves developing mental skills that support performance, well-being, and growth.

Unlike “life coaches”, mental performance coaches use evidence-based strategies to help athletes and performers develop skills such as confidence, focus, resilience, motivation, goal-setting, managing pressure, and handling setbacks.

*Mental performance coaches do not diagnose or treat clinical mental health disorders and will refer clients to proper care when necessary.

As a mental performance coach with a master’s degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology, I use research-based approaches alongside my experience as a professional ballet dancer to help dancers and athletes develop these skills.
