Mental Performance Coaching from Someone Who Has Been There
Madeleine’s Story
As a professional ballerina of eight years, Madeleine Ramsey is no stranger to performance related stress. She experienced the stressors of comparison, self-doubt, performance anxiety, poor concentration, burnout, and low confidence on stage as both a student and professional.
When she sought support from traditional psychologists, she often left feeling frustrated because they didn’t understand the demands of her training, her goals, or the unique culture of high-performance environments.
Throughout her years in this high pressure environment, Madeleine saw firsthand how many talented dancers and athletes gave up their dream because they couldn't healthily cope with the mental and emotional demands of their craft.
Madeleine continues to perform throughout North Carolina while supporting her clients as they strive for their own balance of wellness and performance. She is dedicated to helping performers and athletes stay connected to their “why,” develop mental skills that stick, and pursue excellence without sacrificing their well-being.
Madeleine’s Education
After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from Harvard Extension School, Madeleine deepened her knowledge of Performance and Sport Psychology at Springfield College. She graduated with a Master’s Degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology Education.
Madeleine is now pursing a Certified Mental Performance Coach (CMPC) license, which is a highly selective title that is Accredited by the American Psychological Association.
